› Question #1
What's the 'nothing'?
There is no known place or moment in the history of the Universe in which 'nothing' has existed
There are people who imagine that 'nothingness' existed before the Big Bang. There are also people who imagine that 'nothingness' awaits us after death. But what guarantee do we have that 'nothing' exists? Scientifically, there is still no known place or moment in the history of the Universe in which 'nothingness' has existed, so it is very unlikely that it exists. In fact, clinical death as known by science is a process of matter and, like the rest of the processes of matter, there are no reasons to think that it possesses the attributes or the capacity by itself to create a parallel reality as could be 'nothing'. The 'nothing' is a hypothesis that could easily be considered the product of a wish. Science continues to work and find reasons to believe that 'nothingness' is neither the beginning nor the end.
